Apple Began Offering 128 GB iPad In Online Store

Following its announcement last week, today Apple began offering the new 128 GB iPad models on the Apple online store with shipping times for the new model being quoted at 1-3 business days for majority of countries. In the United States, shipping times for 128 GB Wi-Fi + Cellular iPad are currently listed at 3-5 business for all three carriers.

The new 128 GB iPad model carries a $100 premium over the 64 GB model and is available in four combinations of Wi-Fi/Wi-Fi + Cellular and black/white models.

After both the new iMac and iPad mini experienced supply constraints, analysts will keep a close eye on how the company manages supply times for the new iPad models. However, stock levels have been good on the full-sized iPad that has reportedly seen a considerable decrease in demand as the sales of the iPad mini has increased.
