Apple Is Planning To Release iOS 5 Beta 8 This Friday

According to BGR, citing “trusted source”, Apple is goint to release iOS 5 8 Beta to developers this Friday. A golden master version should be expected " in a week around September 23rd.

"After beta 8, Apple will introduce a Gold Master build on or around September 23rd as has been rumored. We believe that build is what will be loaded onto the already-assembled iPhone 5 hardware currently waiting for final software in China".

Apple’s iPhone carrier partners will have to give final approval to the Gold Master by October 5th. If any issues are discovered, the company will have to quickly develop a software update that will be launched as a patch alongside or almost immediately after the official release of iPhone 5 and iOS 5.
