Apple Seeds iOS 9 Beta 5 to Developers, iOS 9 Beta 3 to Public Testers
Apple on Tuesday seeded the fifth iOS 9 beta to developers and the third beta to the members of the public beta testing program. Both versions of iOS 9 are identical and contain a wide number of improvements and bug fixes. The fourth pre-released build of iOS 9 was released to developers two weeks ago and the very first beta was unveiled at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference in June.
iOS 9 Beta 5 has a build number 13A4325c and can boast of a number of important enhancements and new features. The list of these features is available below, so you can take a look.
- iOS 9 contains a set of new wallpapers.
- There’s now WiFi Calling option for AT&T customers.
- Apple Music now has "Shuffle All" option.
- Tweaks for keyboard, Handoff and CarPlay.
- Siri Suggestions interface in iOS 9 Beta 5 now has a redesigned look.
Of course, there’re some other enhancements in IOS 9, however, they’re less conspicuous to average user.
If you have a developer account or if you have already signed up for the public beta testing program, you can get the latest iOS 9 beta right now. It is available as an OTA-update or through Apple’s dev portal.
As always, I don’t recommend to install this pre-release build of iOS on your main iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
