Apple Seeds macOS Sierra 10.12.5 Beta 5 to Developers

Apple has released the fifth beta of macOS Sierra 10.12.5 to developers. The update contains a number of security, stability, and compatibility improvements. No new features or design changes have been spotted so far.

The update has a build number 16F71b. Here’s what Apple writes about the latest version:

The macOS Sierra 10.12.5 update improves the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac.

If you have a developer account, you can download and install macOS Sierra 10.12.5 beta 5 on your compatible Mac computer. Before updating the software on your computer, make sure you have a backup copy of all important files.

The release of the fifth beta for public testers will take place within next couple of hours.
