Apple to Release Deep Blue iPhone 7 Instead of Space Gray?

According to the latest report from Mac Otakara, Apple is planning to discontinue the Space Gray iPhone color option and introduce a Deep Blue one. In fact, the report suggests that the new iPhone 7 will come in Silver, Gold, Rose Gold and Deep Blue colors. Mac Otakara is a reliable website, however, the origin of today’s rumor is unknown, so take it with a few pinches of salt. So far, we haven’t seen any other reports suggesting that Apple may be planning a change of the iPhone color options in 2016.

Mac Otakara says Apple plans to discontinue the "Space Gray" color, which was introduced with the iPhone 5s in 2013. The lighter shade replaced the darker slate black used on the iPhone 5. The color has since found its way to other Apple products, like the iPad Air, iPad Pro and 12-inch MacBook.

The same report also suggests that the iPhone 7 will be equipped with the same display its predecessors had. This goes in line with previous rumors from reputable sources.
