Apple to Release New iPad Models in March - Analysts
Apple may release three iPad Pro models with smaller bezels next year in March, Barclays Research analysts claim. In addition to the existing 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch models, the company may unveil a brand new 10.9-inch iPad while keeping the overall size of the tablet identical to that of the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. Moreover, as noted by reliable experts Blayne Curtis, Christopher Hemmelgarn, Thomas O'Malley, and Jerry Zhang, Apple may incorporate the Home button right into the screen to save space and reduce the thickness of the device.
Other analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, has similar forecasts. However, he believes that the new iPad Pro will get a slightly smaller 10.5-inch display. Finally, Macotakara suggests that the screen will be of 10.1-inches.
The 9.7-inch iPad Pro is said to remain in the lineup as a low-cost model alongside the iPad mini 4.
Other predictions for the new iPad Pro include quad microphones, and a 12MP camera, True Tone flash, and True Tone display for the 12.9-inch model.
The number of tablets sold globally is getting smaller with every quarter. Still, maybe the new iPad will help Apple to lure new customers and generate more revenue.
