Apple to Ship 3.5mm Headphone Adapter with iPhone 7 [Video]

Another rumor suggesting that Apple may ship a special Lightning to headphone adapter with the next-generation iPhone appeared on the Internet on Thursday. First shared by Tinhte.vn, the video showing the rumored component is available below.

The leaked adapter allegedly comes from a Foxconn’s Vietnamese factory. Unlike previous leaks, today’s part is made of the same materials as other Apple accessories. Moreover, it looks and feels like a genuine part.

The adapter is short, compact, and works on devices running iOS 10 without any problem; however, when connected to iOS 9 a warning appears that says 'this accessory is not supported by this device'.

Many insiders still believe that Apple will release a pair of new headphones with the iPhone 7, however, as more components surface online, it becomes more obvious that the tech giant has chosen a simpler way.
