Apple to Unveil New Thinner Apple Watch in June?
According to the latest report from Drexel Hamilton analyst Brian White, Apple will unveil the new Apple Watch at the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference scheduled for June. The second-generation smartwatch is expected to become 20-40% thinner than the current model and may get a number of other new features.
White’s report is based on data shared by Asian suppliers, so most likely it’s trustworthy. Earlier reports indicated that the Apple Watch 2 may enter the mass production in the second quarter of this year. As to the manufacturer of the updated wearable device, it’s reportedly Apple’s long-term partner Quanta Computer.
Back in March, Apple updated the current Apple Watch lineup with new bands and added some improvements to watchOS. Apart from that, the company made the smartwatch more affordable to lure new customers from developing markets.
