Apple Won’t Release Lightning EarPods with iPhone 7 - Report

According to the latest report from Deutsche Bank researchers, alongside the iPhone 7 Apple will ship a Lightning to 3.5mm jack adapter to make older EarPods compatible with the new smartphone. What this means is that the company will not release a brand new pair of headphones for the next-generation iPhone.

The report is based on the rumors shared by supply chain sources.

The prediction comes via research note in which Deutsche Bank analysts reveal what they are expecting from the iPhone 7 based on supply chain checks.

The same sources also believe that new iPhone will get 3GB of RAM, official water resistance, new Home button, stereo speakers and some other improvements. The 4.7-inch iPhone 7 may get a better camera with optical image stabilization system and the larger 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus is expected to be equipped with a dual camera.

Apple will unveil the next-gen iPhones at a media event in September. Apart from the things mentioned above, the handset will get new A10 processor, faster storage chips and better batteries.
