Here's How to Jailbreak Your Device Running iOS 9 Using New Pangu Utility for Mac
The Pangu team has released a tool for untethered jailbreak of iOS 9-iOS 9.0.2 compatible with OS X. If you have an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch running iOS 9, you can now use your Apple computer to hack the device. Below you will find the detailed instructions on how to jailbreak your gadget, so make sure you follow each step carefully. What you need is a desktop or laptop with OS X on board, USB cable, stable Internet connection and, of course, a compatible iOS device. Let’s start.
Turn of the Passcode by going to Settings - Touch ID & Passcode.
Tap Settings and go to iCloud - Find My iPhone. Disable the Find My iPhone feature.
Enable the Airplane Mode on your device by going back to Settings and moving the required toggle to the right.
Connect your phone to the computer via USB cable, open iTunes and create a backup of the device. This will allow you to keep the data you want in case something goes wrong with the jailbreak.
Open the Pangu app from the Applications folder.
The app should detect your device. Once it happens, you will see the Start button. Click it, this will initiate the process of jailbreak.
You will be asked to confirm that you have a backup and that the device is in the Airplane Mode. Hit Already Backup and wait a bit.
Your device will reboot and at 65% you will be asked to turn on the Airplane Mode once again.
At 75%, open the Pangu app on your iOS device and tap Accept. Allow the application to access your photos.
Once the jailbreak is completed, your device will reboot and the Cydia app will appear on the SpringBoard.
