Mac Game Store Released Digital Download App

MacGameStore.com has launched a new Mac app to ease organization and purchase of game titles from the store. Unlike Steam, the app specifically focuses on downloads of digital games for the Mac and offers many major game titles from famous studios like Aspyr and EA.

The app has a feature called "Game Compatibility Checker" which compares the game’s requirements with the user’s Mac in real time, a useful feature for users with older machines. Another feature is the capability to delete purchased titles and download them again from the cloud at any moment, which is convenient for MacBook Air users with limited storage space.

Also the Mac Game Store can serve as a repository for all games of a user, even those that was not bought through the MGS. The store also offers demos for many titles, as well as game ratings and reviews, and more.
