Office for Mac 2011 to Arrive on October 26th
Earlier we heard rumors that Office for Mac 2011 will be launched on October 27th, but tonight we’ve got new information. If you visit Amazon and search for Office for Mac 2011, you can see the date, which means that the software will be available on October 26th, 2010. It includes two editions: Student and Home/Business.
Amazon is known for its reports on the release date of products before their official launch, and according to Microsoft, which says that the software will be available in October, we are sure that the 26th of October is a more accurate release date.
Office for Mac 2011 will cost $99 (academic license), $119 or $199, depending on the version that users are willing to buy. The software offers new themes, an updated interface and improved compatibility with Windows.
