PC Market Declines, But Mac Sales Continue to Grow

Although the PC market both in the United States and all over the world is slowly but surely declining, Mac sales continue to grow. At least in America. According to the latest estimates from Gartner, Apple’s market share in the USA in the last quarter of 2013 increased to 13.7%.

As noted by MacRumors,

Apple saw its U.S. PC marketshare rise from 9.9 percent to 13.7 percent in the holiday quarter year-over-year, according to data just released from Gartner. The 28.5 percent rise shows a substantial increase in Mac sales, largely at the expense of HP and Toshiba.

Nevertheless, these are only the approximate figures. As to the real ones, we will be able to take a look at them on January 27th. This is the day when the company from Cupertino is expected to report its official earnings in Q4 2013.
