Three Automotive Industry Giants to Unveil iOS in the Car Next Week?

Three automotive industry giants, namely, Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz and Volvo, are expected to unveil vehicles with Apple’s new iOS in the Car system on board next week. The smart system allows drivers to use Apple Maps, make calls, listen to music etc. directly from the car’s console display. As noted by Financial Times (via iClarified):

The official announcement of Apple’s deal will be made at next week’s Geneva Motor Show, sources told the Financial Times. A number of other manufacturers are expected to incorporate it into models in 2014. Apple, and the carmakers declined to comment.

The new system will prevent drivers from distracting while driving as it allows to use the smartphone functionality without actually holding it in the hand. Let’s wait for a while to see the official iOS in the Car release.
