Tim Cook Confirmed Apple's Plans to Create Mobile Payment Service
Apple CEO Tim Cook confirmed that the company from Cupertino is planning to start working on a mobile payment service, but this is not the most important issue at the moment. The idea of developing Apple’s own payment service first appeared before the Touch ID introduction, Cook added.
The mobile payments area in general is one that we’ve been intrigued with. It was one of the thoughts behind Touch ID.
Apart from that, Apple CEO pointed out, that people love buying digital content directly from their iPhones using Touch ID because it is "incredibly simple and easy and elegant." Well, I must admit he’s right.
At the same time, the company from Cupertino has a lot of work to do to create it’s own mobile payment service and make it efficient, user-friendly and, what is most important, secure.
