Tim Cook Visits Mac Pro Factory in Austin

Apple CEO on Friday visited the first US-based manufacturing facility where Macs are assembled. According to what he has tweeted earlier today, Cook is proud of this factory and the fact that at least some Apple computers are manufactured in the USA.

While it was revealed yesterday that Apple executives Tim Cook and Eddy Cue had visited the company's new operations campus in Austin, Texas, Cook has just tweeted a photo of a second visit he made to Apple's nearby Mac Pro manufacturing facility.

As to the reason for such a visit, it is still unknown. Probably, Apple CEO decided to take a look at how people work at the factory.

The plant Tim Cook visited is run by a firm called Flextronics. It has been opened quite recently.
