Top Apple and Samsung executives Had a Meeting to Discuss Patent Suit

The information was revealed by Apple attorney Harold MacElhinny, who responded on Friday to questioning from Lucy Koh, who is a U.S. Disctrict Judge.
Koh hoped the companies may resolve the case without attracting the court and thus said:
"Can't we all just get along here? I will send you with box of chocolates, whatever".
After Koh asked "Can we get them together?" McElhinny reportedly said:
"They are in fact meeting and talking".
As you may remember, in April Apple alleged Samsung in copying its technologies, interfaces and style, and Samsung responded quickly with a countersuit. It is interesting that later a judge allowed Apple to see Samsung's samples of unreleased smartphones and tablets, which have been accused of infringement. But when Samsung asked the same, Apple characterized such filing as harassment, because Apple is "one of the most secretive" companies in the world.
