PC and Mac Shipments Decline, Gartner Reporters Claim





According to the latest report from Gartner, worldwide PC shipments have declined by 9.5% in the second quarter of 2015. As noted by the analysts, this is the most noticeable decline since Q3 2013. PC vendors managed to sell 68.4 million computers in the past months.

If to speak about the Mac sales in the second quarter of this year, they saw a decline as well. The sales of Apple computers fell only by 2.5%. It should be pointed out, however, that this number represents only the sales results in the United States of America, where Apple products are incredibly popular among the customers. Worldwide PC shipments totaled 68.4 million units in the second quarter of 2015, a 9.5 percent decline from the second quarter of 2014, according to preliminary results from Gartner.

Apple declined 2.5% but still gained market share going from 12.3% in 2014 to 12.7% in 2015.

Apple is expected to announce its financial results on July 21st. The guys from Cupertino are also expected to reveal the number of Macs, iPhones, iPads and Apple Watch units sold in the last months. Let’s wait.
