Production ramp of Apple's next-gen MacBooks creating labor shortages in China
DigiTimes reports that demand for Apple's redesigned line of 2012 MacBooks is so strong that Apple’s component suppliers are facing a labor shortage as they racing to produce enough parts to supply the Mac maker's production lines.
"Component manufacturing plants in eastern China have been suffering from labor shortages for a long time, and although May and June are the IT industry's traditional slow season when shortage issues are usually not as significant, the strong orders from Apple's new MacBook are leaving many upstream makers unable to satisfy demand."
Apple Researching Stylus Concepts with Optical Tracking and Haptic Feedback
Back in 2007, then the first-generation iPhone was launched, Steve Jobs offered an idea of a stylus for the iPhone. And it seems that Apple is still researching his ideas for stylus-based input. Unwired View has recently posted Apple patent applications filed in late 2010, highlighting optical and haptic stylus concepts. However, there is no evidence that Apple is seriously looking at incorporating a stylus into its products, but it remains clear that the company is thinking about how such pen-based input could be used in novel ways.
Apple's optical stylus is based on a tiny camera on the tip of the pen, allowing it to track patterns on a device's screen that is invisible to the user's eye.

Sn0wBreeze will also preserve baseband version if you need carrier unlock. It can also update your modem version to 06.15 if you need unlock and stuck with 05.14 or higher baseband. If you have new iPhone 3GS that was made after 28 week of 2011 upgrading modem will not help to unlock.
