Apple Store Sales Fall 3% in September, but Everything is OK

Apple Store sales fall because of third-party resellers, analysts say. Although the number of iPhones, iPads and other Apple gadgets sold grows from year to year, these devices are most often purchased via non-Apple outlets.

According to AppleInsider,

Same-store Apple Store sales were down 3.3 percent in the September quarter, which was still an improvement from the June quarter when same-store sales were down 9.6 percent. Apple's retail performance was highlighted on Monday by analyst Charlie Wolf of Needham & Company, who said he expects the pattern of Apple's retail stores not keeping pace with the company's overall growth to continue.

What is interesting though is that new Apple Retail Stores, if opened, can possibly become a powerful tool to attract customers in China. Would the company from Cupertino use this tool or not? Well, who knows?
