Apple Releases Third iOS 8.2 Beta to Developers for Testing
Apple on Thursday released the third iOS 8.2 beta to developers for testing. New firmware version can boast of a number of performance improvements and several important bugfixes. The release comes just one week after the release of the previous beta and about one month after the release of the first iOS 8.2 beta. Apart from seeding iOS 8.2, the guys from Cupertino also made Xcode 6.2 beta 3 with WatchKit available for developers.
The latest beta-version of Apple’s mobile operating system has a build number 12D5452a and contains several fixes for Messages and WKInterfaceController, which make iOS 8.2 more efficient and stable. Apple is expected to release iOS 8.2 to users worldwide early next year, alongside the release of its long-anticipated Apple Watch, which will reportedly hit the store shelves in February or March.
Those who have a developer account can download the latest beta-version of iOS 8.2 either from Apple’s developer portal or using the Software Update option. However, if you decide to update to iOS 8.2, keep in mind that it is far from being stable. I don’t recommend to install it o your main device.
