Apple Releases OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 Beta 4 to Developers for Testing
Apple on Tuesday seeded the fourth beta of OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 to developers for testing. The release took place about two weeks after the release of the third OS X 10.10.4 beta and roughly a month after the debut of the very first 10.10.4 beta. As you might have guessed, the latest testing version of Apple’s desktop operating system can boast of a number of stability and performance improvements as well as bug fixes.
OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 Beta 4 has a build number 14E26a. Since this version is only an under-the-hood update, it appears that there are no new features or noticeable design improvements.
Previous OS X version, OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 brought a lot of improvements to the operating system, namely, a new Photos app, redesigned emojis and a bunch of stability enhancements.
If you have a developer account, you can download the fourth OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 right now. It is available either from Apple’s developer portal, or through the Software Update section on the Mac App Store.
Keep in mind that this is only a beta, so it is not recommended to install this piece of software on your main computer.
