Apple Seeds iOS 9.1 Beta 4 and tvOS Beta 3 to Testers



Apple on Tuesday seeded the fourth iOS 9.1 beta to developers and the member of the public beta testing program. The release took place one week after the release of the previous iOS 9.1 beta and iOS 9.0.2 with fixes and minor tweaks. Just like previous betas, this one contains a number of stability, security and performance improvements.

PhotosLive Tweak Lets iOS 8 Users Capture Live Photos

Apple Releases iOS 9 with New Features to Users Worldwide



Just as we expected, Apple on Wednesday released iOS 9 to public worldwide. If you have a compatible iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, the update should be available in the Settings app under General - Software Update or once you connect your device to iTunes. It should be noted, however, that Apple servers are currently overloaded, so if you don’t see any available updates, you should wait for a while.

OS X 10.11 El Capitan Will Be Released on September 30th, GM Version for Developers is Already Out



At the media event devoted to new iPhones and iPads that took place on Wednesday, Apple announced that the long-awaited OS X 10.11 El Capitan will be released to users worldwide on September 30th. Apple Releases New OS X 10.11 El Capitan Betas to Developers and Public Testers



Apple on Monday seeded the eighth beta of OS X 10.11 El Capitan to developers for testing. The release took place about two weeks after the release of the seventh OS X 10.11 beta and more than two months after the official announcement of the operating system at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference back in June. Alongside OS X El Capitan Beta 8 for developers, the guys from Cupertino seeded OS X El Capitan Beta 6 for the members of the public testing program. Both versions are identical in terms of design and functionality.

British Firm Builds iPhone 6 with Hydrogen Fuel Cell Inside



A British firm called Intelligent Energy has recently built a working iPhone 6 unit with a hydrogen fuel cell inside. The most interesting thing about this handset is that it still has a Li-ion battery and its dimensions are the same. The modified iPhone 6 has a tweaked headphone jack, which is now used for refilling and several holes on the back panel for releasing water vapour produced by the hydrogen fuel cell. According to The Telegraph, the device created by Intelligent Energy can work up to one week on a single charge. Yep, that’s right: an iPhone can work for one week without an external battery.
