Apple Changed Logo to Highlight World AIDS Day
Apple is changing the color of its brand logo outside the retail stores in the UK from white to red in order to show support for World AIDS Day. Moreover, the company from Cupertino has changed the design of its official website to highlight World AIDS Day. Every user that visits Apple’s UK homepage can now see a link to Product(RED) website.
According to what Jordan Kahn of 9to5mac writes,
A 9to5Mac reader sent in the images above showing the process has already started at the Regent Street Store in London, but Apple will likely transform many of its other flagship locations outside the UK too.
The main aim of Worlds AIDS Day, which is recognized on December 1st in the USA, UK and a number of other countries all over the world, is to make people aware of AIDS pandemic problem. Charity organizations - like Product(RED), for instance, - usually throw various events to support the campaign against AIDS.
