Apple Officially Releases First Watch OS Update
The guys from Cupertino have recently released the very first update for the Apple Watch operating system. The Watch OS 1.0.1 contains a number of bug fixes and brings a number of performance and security improvements to the smartwatch. Unfortunately, there’s no Find My Watch feature, which was rumored to be included in the first software update. Looks like adding such a feature is a bit complicated task.
If to speak about the improvements brought by Watch OS 1.0.1, they are mostly connected with the health-tracking features of the wearable device. Apart from that, there are some fixes for Siri, which deal with the support of Brazilian Portuguese, Danish, Dutch, Swedish, Russian, Thai, and Turkish as well as a bunch of new emojis that were originally added to iOS 8.3 earlier this year.
If you have an Apple Watch, it is recommended that you should update your device as soon as possible. To do this, you need to connect it to the charger and put not far from your iPhone. After that, you should open the dedicated Apple Watch application on your phone and go to General - Software Update section.
