Apple to Unveil iPhone 6 on September 9th?

Following the rumors that suggested that Apple will unveil its next-generation iPhone on October 14th, a new report from Re/code appeared online on Tuesday that denies such suggestions and says that the new handset will be released on September 9th. For several years in a row, September has been the month of the iPhone release and looks like the guys from Cupertino decided not to change the tradition. Bloomberg and the Wall Street Journal confirmed the date of the iPhone 6 launch.

Following the September 9 introduction, the iPhone 6 will likely be available to customers on a corresponding Friday roughly a week and a half later, possibly September 19.

While we may be totally sure that the guys from Cupertino will show us their new 4.7-inch handset with an A8 processor, better camera and a wide number of other improvements, there's no information concerning the debut of the 5.5-inch model at the same media event. According to the latest rumors, Apple suppliers encountered some manufacturing difficulties that make it nearly impossible to assemble enough handsets until September.
