Apple's Lower Cost iPhone Would Have the Same 8MP Camera as iPhone 5
Looks like the Apple’s lower cost iPhone would be an iPhone 5 plastic copy. Apart from the other similar hardware solutions, it is said to get an 8-megapixel rear camera.
Along with the 8-megapixel camera with sapphire crystal scratch-resistant cover, the widely rumored iPhone Lite would get an Apple A6 processor, 1GB of RAM and a previously mentioned plastic cover painted in different colors.
As to the release date, a KGI Securities expert Ming-Chi Kuo earlier predicted that Apple will introduce its new budget smartphone no sooner than early September. Moreover, he says that the retail price of the iPhone Lite would be about $450-550 - this is how much the iPhone 4S now costs.
Apart from the lower cost iPhone 5C with the 8-megapixel camera, Apple is expected to launch another device - iPhone 5S - equipped with a 12-megapixel camera and dual LED flash later this year. Can’t wait to see.
