Demand for 3 iPhone 8 Models to Be Extremely Strong

According to the latest report shared by reliable KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, there will be three iPhone 8 models featuring glass casing and supporting wireless charging. Only one will get an OLED display, but anyway, the demand for all devices may set a new record.

The expert believes that those people who own a high-end iPhone 7 Plus or any other model with top specs will certainly upgrade to the OLED iPhone. Moreover, those who own other lower-end iPhones are very likely to replace them with a new model, even though it may have the same LCD display. Wireless charging and all-glass body along with new processors, GPU, and improved cameras will become the main reasons for upgrade.

As for the demand, Kuo predicts it will be incredibly high. Apple may ship around 120-150 million iPhone 8 units in the second half of 2017, which is more than the iPhone 7, iPhone 6s, and iPhone 6 shipments in their respective launch quarters at 90-100 million, 100-110 million, and 110-120 million units.

Ming-Chi Kuo has a good track record when it comes to the releases of Apple products. This is the main reason for paying attention to his predictions.
