iPad Waiting Lines Coverage
As you know the sales of Apple iPad are announced to start at the 9am on April, 3rd. A few hours left before this moment will come so here is a bunch of photos from the iPad waiting lines we found on the Internet so far (CultOfMac, Gizmodo, TechCrunch, iJustine, Mashable and other sources) .
Here are the photos from the NYC Apple Store:
The first guy who came on Thursday night to take his iPad was Greg Packer (below on the left). He's a proffesional line sitter, who gained popularity on a number of events where he was always first to come. But yesterday he was replaced by Richard Gutjahr (below on the right) who was first to reserve the iPad. Richard commented on the situation:
“... [Greg] seems to be really mad. Funny thing: the media still thinks he’d be the number one who gets the iPad. But he needs to wait until the reserved line is done. And that one is lead by me. Who would have thought this?”
iJustine is a popular blogger. She's an Apple fan so few days ago she made a video about it.
Now she's the one who's standing in the line for iPad.
These are the photos from the Palo Alto Store.
And some photos made by the people in waiting lines:
The most fresh photos on the opening hour - the crowd, human iPad media magnets, first people with their iPads:
