iPhone 6 to Feature Faster Processor, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, NFC Support and More
According to the latest rumors, Apple's iPhone 6 will get a 2.0GHz A8 processor, a separate NFC chip, an improved Touch ID fingerprint sensor, 802.11ac Wi-Fi radio and one special chip. This chip will reportedly be used for the recognition and authentication of Beats headsets. Well, at least this is what VentureBeat reporters claim.
The same sources write that there will be two iPhone 6 models with different screen sizes. The 4.7-inch version of the device will be released in September and the 5.5-inch version - several weeks or even a month later.
Our source says the screens are made of an extremely hard material that’s slightly harder than Gorilla Glass but not as hard as sapphire. That corroborates an earlier video report showing that the purported iPhone 6 screen is harder than previous models’ screens but softer than sapphire crystal.
It should be noted, however, that the list of new features mentioned in this post is not full. The guys from Cupertino may add something else as there is still enough time to do that.
Can't wait to see the updated iPhone. And what about you?
