New iOS 8 Concept and Widget Blocks [Video]

A concept designer named Jay Machalani has recently created an iOS 8 concept, which allows you to expand icons into special widget blocks. These blocks look pretty similar to Android's Widgets and Microsoft's Live Tiles.

Here's what the concept creator writes about the iOS widget blocks:

Android has the Widget, Windows the Live Tile and now iOS the Block. Simply pinch an icon bigger to reveal more information and release to leave it. If you like iOS the way it is, nothing changes. If you want a little more, it's all there.

It is very unlikely that Apple will add such a feature to iOS 8, however, it looks interesting. Don't you think so?
