Quanta Computer to Produce Larger-Sized iPad?

According to the latest Digitimes report, Apple has signed a deal with Quanta Computer to produce larger-sized iPad. The Taiwanese-based company is said to start the production of the 12.9-inch iPad in the second half of 2014. There’re also rumors that deal with iWatch, however, I don’t know whether we can trust these rumors or not.

As to the possible spheres of usage, these are educational and business.

Quanta Computer has reportedly landed orders for Apple's rumored large-size iPad for mass production in the second half of 2014, while Inventec, Quanta and Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) are currently competing over Apple's iWatch orders, according to sources from the upstream supply chain.

Quanta, Inventec and Foxconn have declined to comment about their orders.
