Retina Display on iPod touch 4G May Differ from That on iPhone 4 [Video]
Since the announcement of iPod touch 4G at the “Special event” by Apple we’ve got to know that it sports 2 cameras:
- for HD video recording placed on the back
- for FaceTime calls placed on the front
It should be mentioned that many users are disappointed with the 0.7 megapixel camera on the back as they hoped for a better one.
According to 9 to 5 Mac, a new iPod touch may have the Retina Display that differs from that on the iPhone 4. If you carefully check out the technical specifications of the novelty on Apple.com, you’ll notice that it lacks the “Contrast Ratio” (IPS) and “Retina Display” bits that allow users watching the screen from tight viewing angles.
The video below shows the difference. At 00:15 you’ll see that the iPod touch 4G screen is a bit washed out if you compare it with the one on the iPhone 4 device. So what’s your opinion? Are these screens the same or are they really different?
