Foxconn employee says Apple placing orders for next iPhone to debut in October
South Korea's Maeil Business Newspaper reports that the head of human resources at one Foxconn factory gave the info claiming that Apple has recently placed an order for its sixth-generation iPhone that is on schedule to launch in October of 2012.
"We just got the order," the Foxconn human resources head reportedly told the newspaper. "[The release] will be around October."
Focxonn has posted many hiring notices recently. Such fact suggests that Focxonn enlarges its staff preparing for mass production of Apple’s new devices, presumably, the sixth-generation iPhone.

Dropbox And Facebook iOS Apps Are Vulnerable To Credential Theft
This week Gareth Wright that Facebook's app for iOS has a security vulnerability through which malicious users can access login credentials saved in a .plist file of the app. With a copy of that .plist file malicious users could automatically log into the affected user's Facebook account on another device. Reportedly, the vulnerability also exists on Android devices.

FireCore Releases Tethered Jailbreak for Apple TV 2 iOS 5.1
FireCore today that they have successfully jailbroken the Apple TV 2 with the latest iOS 5.1 (5.0). The jailbreak is tethered which requires the Apple TV to be connected to a Mac/PC when powering it on (each time).

Apple And Foxconn's Agreement Will Raise Bar For Working Conditions In China
Yesterday Fair Labor Association the results of its investigation into three Foxconn facilities. The inspection has revealed a number of violations of the labor law, and following FLA’s recommendations Apple and Foxconn have agreed to bring overtime and working hours in line with the Chinese legal limit of 36 per month and 49 per week. Also Foxconn will hire thousands of new workers and provide a compensation package to ensure employee’s salaries remain at the same level amid reduced overtime and working hours.
Apple Will Ramp Up Production Of 15" MacBook Pros In April, 13" in June
DigiTimes, Apple will ramp up production of its new 15-inch MacBook Pro in April, but the mass production of 13.3-inch model will not start until June. The April timing corresponds with about new Intel Bridge processors that could be used in the new MacBook Pros.
iH8sn0w have found a way to downgrade iPhone 4S and iPad 2 to iOS 5.0.1
iH8sn0w, developer of sn0wbreeze and iFaith, has found a way to downgrade the firmware on A5 devices - iPhone 4S, iPad 2.
Using saved SHSH blobs, iH8sn0w was able to downgrade his A5 iPad 2 from iOS 5.1 to iOS 5.0.1. He says his method will also work with the A5X processor once firmware updates are released for the new iPad. That means that it's possible to restore to any firmware you want on A5 devices, as long as you have the SHSH blobs saved.
This is great news for those with the iPhone 4S and newer iPads. As it stands now, if you have to restore for any reason, you will be forced to upgrade to the latest firmware. This could leave you without the ability to jailbreak for some time.

Concept Photos of the 'New iPhone'
ADR Studios has published concept photos of the 'new iPhone' featuring three Retina Displays, an LED powered edge, and 4G LTE.
First of all it's sim-less: it doesn't use a simcard by our phone mobile operator. It can grab your data directly by the mobile network, also in 4G LTE. It uses a new audio section, with two panel speakers, on the rear of it aluminum forged unibody. All the controls are now on the top and the edge is so thin!
The great news is the new iPhone haven't just one retina display. It has three ones! One strip screen is on the top, to show you all the network infos, clocks, notifications and so on. The bottom one is for App dock, multitasking panel and so on. The central one is only for the desktop: more space, more freedom.
The home button is integrated into bottom strip display and it can be activate thanks to the closer motion sensor. In addition you've a "led powered edge". You can use it to show the strength of battery life or to show you a preferred caller: you can choose the color thanks to the led edge dedicated app.

Next-gen iPhone to feature 4.6-inch Retina Display
4.65-inch screen of Samsung's Galaxy Nexus
Citing South Korea's Maeil Business Newspaper, Reuters issued yesterday the unverified report claiming that Apple has begun placing orders for a 4.6-inch Retina Display chosen for the next-generation iPhone. The anonymous source also claims that the new iPhone is likely to be revealed in the second quarter of this year.
The rumor suggested that domestic Korean suppliers have received the orders, making Samsung and LG likely candidates as suppliers. Both companies have supplied displays for Apple's mobile products in the past.

In December last year AFP that Italian anti-trust regulators fined Apple $1.2 million for misleading commercial practices relating to AppleCare warranties. According to the decision of Italian competitor regulator, Apple’s AppleCare warranties have failed to inform consumers of a 2-year mandatory warranty required by EU law.

FaceTime on Apple's new iPad not allowed over LTE
Having performed some testing, The Verge discovered that the recently-released iPad will need a Wi-Fi connection to use FaceTime, the device will not be allowed to make FaceTime calls on LTE network.
The iPad show that LTE service on the device is significantly faster than previous-generation 3G networking. Some said that the average download speed is 17 megabits per second on Verizon LTE network, while on AT&T's network it reaches 12 mbps.
