Apple Was Granted Patent for 'Transparent Texting’ Tech



Last week Apple was granted another patent entitled ‘Transparent Texting’. According to a patent application published by the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the company from Cupertino is planning to develop a system that will automatically change the background image of popular messaging apps and replace it with a live video feed from the device’s rear camera. Interesting idea, don’t you think so?

Japan Display to Produce 5.5-Inch Display for iPhone 6?



A company called Japan Display has recently announced the development of a 5.5-inch Quad HD (WQHD) display with a resolution of 1440x2560. As we already know, the displays for Apple’s iPhone 6 will be manufactured at Sharp's, Japan Display's and LG Electronics’ manufacturing facilities. This means that the next-gen iPhone may be equipped with a brand new display I mentioned above.

New 4.7-inch iPhone 6 Concept by SET Solution - Video



A new iPhone 6 concept has recently appeared on the Internet. This time it’s a model created by SET Solution and I must admit, it looks very realistic. As the authors of the concept say, they’ve gathered the most plausible rumors on the Internet and tried to create the device, which can actually resemble Apple’s creation. Apple to Expand Arizona Sapphire Plant Soon - Rumor



Apple and its partner GT Advanced Technologies are currently planning to expand operations at the Arizona sapphire plant. Doing so, the companies hope to increase the output of the manufacturing facility. However, it is still unknown what components (aside from sapphire screens) would that ‘expanded’ factory produce.

Recently Released Microsoft Office Apps Top App Store Charts



As you probably know, Microsoft on Thursday released its long-anticipated Office for iPad. The office suite consists of three apps, namely, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Just two days after the official release, these apps are now ranking as top three free apps on the App Store. What a successful debut, huh?

The evad3rs on Friday released an updated evasi0n7 jailbreak utility. It is still impossible to jailbreak iPhone 5, 5c and 5s running iOS 7.1, however, evasi0n7 1.0.8 brings support for iOS 7.0 build 11A466.

Alleged Schematics for 4.7-inch and 5.7-inch iPhone 6 Appear on the Internet



An image showing the purported schematics for Apple’s long-anticipated iPhone 6 has recently appeared on the Internet. Whether the photo is legitimate or not is still a question as the company from Cupertino hasn’t yet confirmed that it is working on a next-gen smartphone.

Apple Releases Another OS X Mavericks 10.9.3 Beta to Developers



Apple on Tuesday seeded a new OS X Mavericks 10.9.3 beta to developers for testing. The release comes about two weeks after the previous OS X version. This week’s build is number 13D28 and I must say it contains a couple of important bug fixes. However, no new features were spotted.

QuickPass: Tweak that Allows to Enable or Disable Passcode Lock Easily



A new useful tweak has recently appeared on Cydia. It’s called QuickPass and it is a simple tool that allows you to disable the passcode lock within just one tap in the Settings menu. If you have children who enjoy playing games on your iPhone and if you’re tired of typing in the password each time they lock the screen, this tweak is surely what you need.
