Apple Makes Foxconn Improve Its Robots for Assembling iPhones

According to the latest report from a Chinese website Jiemian, Foxconn robots, which were designed to assemble Apple's iPhones, are currently not precise enough to cope with that task. However, this doesn't mean that they won't ever be used in the production of the smartphones. They can substitute human workers after Foxconn solves the problems Apple found.

As noted in the report of the Chinese insiders, Foxconn robots have the accuracy of 0.05mm, while the guys from Cupertino need the accuracy of 0.02mm. Apart from that, the so-called Foxbots are too large to be used at the existing factories.
