Apple ID Two-Step Verification Available in 48 New Countries





According to the recent reports from reliable sources, Apple expanded its  Apple ID two-step verification feature to 48 new countries. Now the users from 59 countries all over the world have an opportunity to set up the two-step authentication on their iPhones and iPads.

These countries include France, Switzerland, China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, India and some others.

First launched in March of 2013, two-step verification is designed to provide Apple users with an extra layer of protection through the use of a trusted device and a security code for their Apple IDs.

First debuted in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland and New Zealand, the useful feature since that time has been launched in a number of other European, Asian and South American countries.

Making a two-step verification feature available for new users, Apple has made another step aimed at increasing safety of their devices and the information stored on them.
