Apple Releases Fifth OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 Beta to Developers and Public Beta Testers

Apple on Monday released the fifth OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 beta to developers public beta testers for testing. The release came just one week after the release of the fourth pre-release OS X version and about a month after the debut of the very first 10.10.3 beta.

Monday’s beta has a build number 14D113c. Just like the previous version of Apple’s operating system for Macs, it can boast of several security and performance enhancements and bug fixes. The guys from Cupertino made the new Photos app, which will be released in the near future, more efficient and stable.

Apart from the support of the new Photos app, which will soon replace iPhoto and Aperture, previous OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 betas brought the support of Google’s two-step verification, a wide number of new emojis and numerous bug fixes to Apple’s desktop operating system.

Those who have a developer account or a registered public beta tester account, can download the latest OS X beta right now. It is available either through Apple’s developer portal, or using the software update option in the Mac App Store. As usual, I don’t recommend to install the pre-release version of OS X on your main computer. It may be unstable and incompatible with the software you use.
