Boot Speed Test: iPod touch 6G Is Faster Than iPod touch 5G
As you know, the guys from Cupertino have recently released a new iPod touch. The sixth iteration of the iPod touch has a 4-inch display and can boast of the 64-bit A8 processor with M8 motion coprocessor, 8-megapixel iSight camera and a bunch of other improvements that make it different from the iPod touch 5G.
With the prices starting at $199, the new portable player can be easily called a worth-purchasing device. But is it faster than the fifth-generation iPod touch? iClarified reporters have recently decided to compare the boot speeds of both devices and released a short video featuring the iPod touch 5G and the iPod touch 6G. You can take a look at this video below.
As you see, it took the new iPod touch 24.9 seconds to boot up. The older device was noticeably slower - its result is equal to 40.6 seconds.
