Apple Launches Web-Based iTunes Preview
Apple has launched iTunes Preview, a feature that shows what music is available on iTunes from the convenience of your Web browser. iTunes Preview lets anyone browse through the entire iTunes catalog’s worth of music, info, and user reviews for any region.

Apple Music Event by the Numbers
During the It’s only rock and roll Apple spent some time discussing numbers. And as usual the numbers were huge. So here's what we've heard:
- 30 million iPhones sold
- 20 million iPod touches sold
That makes 50 million iPhone OS X platform device on the market, up from 45 million on July 21.
- 75,000 apps in the iTunes App Store
- 1.8 billion downloads (not counting updates)
In terms of games, compared with other mobile platforms, here’s the library count:
- 21,178 for Apple iPhone/iPod touch
- 3,680 for Nintendo DS
- 607 for Sony PSP

What's new in Firmware 3.0 Beta4: 12 changes

Equilibrio game: play with physics [AppStore, Video]
Equilibrio is a new game where you control a ball through various levels to reach the exit. It is a very funny game where we use physics to guide a ball using the accelerometer of the iPhone and iPod Touch. In the lower left is a kind of small map that shows the structure and level of play while we try to take the coins.

Quake filannly made it! It is avaliable in Cydia Installer.
Main thing, it’s quite playable - moving around and firing are easy to do. There is an Options area, sound and music, and very little lag when playing. It doesn’t make use of the accelerometer - but if you’re a Quake fan, this is a good bit of Sunday fun for sure.
