Apple on Tuesday updated its iWork for both iOS and Mac with a new read-only sharing mode, Retina graphics support, improved design and a number of other important features. The updated iWork suite apps are currently available on App Store and Mac App Store, so don’t waste your time - go and get them right now.

According to AppleInsider,

On iCloud, all three applications gained new Retina display-ready graphical assets as well as the ability to open files directly from iCloud Mail. Additionally, users can now share documents with a 'view only' security setting.

The update comes nearly a week after Microsoft's Office for iPad debut. Word, Excel and PowePoint are currently the three most popular free apps on the App Store.

Just in case you’ve forgotten, iWork suite apps are available for free for those who purchase any Mac or iOS device.
