iOS 8.1.3 to Be Released Next Week and Include Minor Improvements

According to the latest reports from reliable sources, a minor iOS 8.1.3 update is currently in the works. It won’t contain noticeable stability improvements or design changes, however, it will fix some bugs and slightly enhance the overall performance of Apple’s mobile operating system. As to the public release, it may take place as soon as next week, since some retail employees have already begun testing the latest version of firmware.

MacRumors reporters claim they have spotted an increase in the number of iOS 8.1.3 users accessing their website in the last few days. This indicates that the new firmware version is just around the corner.

According to source that spoke to MacRumors, Apple on Wednesday seeded iOS 8.1.3 build 12B460 to select retail employees for testing, which explains the increase in visits we've seen from devices running the 8.1.3 software.

As you probably know, Apple’s next major update is iOS 8.2, which will add support of Apple Watch. Its release date is unknown, however, it may become available for users in March, ahead of or alongside Apple Watch release. Apart from iOS 8.1.3 and iOS 8.2, the guys from Cupertino are already testing iOS 8.3 and iOS 9.
