Google's My Location comes to iPhone's Safari [Video]
Google on Wednesday rolled out the My Location feature for Google.com on the iPhone. Now, when you visit Google.com from the Safari browser of an iPhone sporting 3.0 software, you'll be greeted with a hyperlink urging you to enable My Location. Enable it and let Google see your location, when you search it'll now show you stuff nearby that matches, like coffeeshops, restourants, gas stations, etc.
Search with My Location for Safari currently works for English speakers in the U.S. and U.K., with multilingual and multinational support coming soon.

New Version of Google Mobile iPhone App Features Added "Ninja"
We don't have an explanation for this, but the new version of the Google Mobile App for iPhone/iPod Touch lists some pretty wacky improvements, notably "Longer Version Number" and "Ninja." This screen can be seen in the "Update Details" section of the app. We hope some fun-loving Google employee didn't just get fired for his ninja-humor-based initiative.

Google: New Image Search for iPhone
Today Google launched a new Image Search results page for iPhone, iPod touch and Android in the US, the UK and Japan.
With the new Image Search results, you can easily scan up to 20 images on a single results page and get the details for images that interest you. From the details page, you can view a larger thumbnail, visit the web page containing the image, or view the image by itself in full size. The new results page also supports "search-by-style" filters, which allow you to restrict your search results to people's faces, clip art, line drawings, or photo content.
