The Wall Street analyst suggests that Apple could generate the highest annual net income of any publicly traded company in history this year.

As of Monday morning, Apple's market cap was at about $545 billion. Some Wall Street analyst have noted a rather interesting trend amongthe largest companies. Companies that exceed $500 billion in market capitalization have trouble growing much beyond that point.  The analysts are concerned that a similar scenario could happen with Apple.

Foxconn Chairman Terry Gou revealed at his company's annual meeting on Monday that the company is now in talks with Sharp to buy more their shares. Foxconn is Apple's primary manufacturing partner, responsible for assembling devices like the iPhone, iPad and Macs. And Sharp is already a major display supplier for Apple, including Retina displays for the new iPad. That is why it’s not surprisingly that these rumors once again revive speculation that their alliance could play a key role in Apple's rumored television set.

The iPhone Dev-Team will release the 06.15 baseband downgrade today, according to a tweet from MuscleNerd.

Sunday should be a Funday for those waiting for 06.15 BB downgrade! ("Sunday"==PDT, i.e UTC-7). Blog will have details before release

The 06.15 baseband is an iPad baseband that many iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS owners updated to in order to unlock their device. Now those users will be able to get true GPS and an ultrasn0w unlock.

the 06.15 downgrade allows both true GPS location services and ultrasn0w unlock (if it's still needed) to work

Following up on his amazing renders of the next generation iPhone 5 in black, Martin uit Utrecht has now shared some renders of the device in white.

The images are based on rumors and various leaked parts of the next iPhone 5.

As we reported earlier this week, some iOS 6 features will not be compatible with all iDevices. Among these features are new turn-by-turn navigation and Flyover that are not supported on the iPhone 4 and older devices.

But according to videos posted by Russian site iGuides, Flyover and 3D maps can properly work on a jailbroken iPhone 4. After digging in the firmware, an iOS developer Anton Titkov has managed to get these feature working on the iPhone 4 and has even posted instructions for enabling these functions.

Apple offers a new concept of an improved iPhone camera system that would allow users to reconfigure or replace camera lenses. The details of Apple’s new invention were published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on Thursday.

The filing notes that as the quality of digital images taken with highly compact devices increases, users seek even more sophisticated features typically only found with high-end digital cameras. Features such as supplementary lenses and filters, optical zoom, and optical image stabilization are not typically found in multifunction devices that include a camera.

Determining which methods of communication are available, the system simplifies the decision whether to call, text message, FaceTime or iMessage another user.

On Wednesday Nico Weber, a Google Software Engineer, revealed that the company "committed to polishing" its Chrome browser to take advantage of Apple's new MacBook Pro with Retina Display, released on Monday. Nico posted the promise to the company's official Chrome blog along with a screenshot of the "early results" of high-resolution support in Chrome.

"We have further to go over the next few weeks, but we’re off to the races to make Chrome as beautiful as it can be," he said.
