Adobe has released updates for Creative cloud with Photoshop features

Following the announcement that Photoshop CS6 and Illustrator CS6 provide support of the Retina display, Adobe announced the additional upgrades to Creative Cloud subscription service. The updates are currently available exclusively for the subscribers of Creative Cloud.

Today Adobe released updates to and Photoshop CS6 adding support for Retina displays. Now customers can see more detail in text and images in the user interface of these programs when working on computers with high-resolution displays such as a new MacBook Pro. Currently, the HiDPI feature in the Illustrator is available only on Mac OS, but in the future it is expected to be available on other operating systems.

Today OWC that it launched a 480 GB SSD module for the new 13-inch MacBook Pro. OWC noted that $580 upgrade option will cost you about $220 less compared to Apple 512 GB build-to-order flash module, and will allow you to reuse your original factory flash module.

13-inch MacBook Pro Teardown Revealed Minor Changes in Accessibility
iFixit has already the new 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro, saying that there are several improvement in accessibility compared to the 15-inch model.
One of the interesting changes is a battery layout with space underneath the trackpad being free of battery cells. Instead of battery cells in that area, Apple has opted to mount the flash storage, thus allowing access to the trackpad if it needs to be replaced.
How Apple made the iPad mini 23% thinner and 53% lighter
Yesterday Apple introduced the new iPad mini which has the same resolution as iPad 2 in a smaller 7.9 inch form factor that's two thirds the price of the latest iPad. But last year, it was more likely that Apple would make the iPod touch larger than reducing the size of the iPad. Apple went far further and did both, expanding the Retina Display iPod touch (along with iPhone 5), and scaling the iPad down.
This effectively gives Apple two very different new devices with nearly the same pixel count and very similar prices: the 4 inch iPod touch ($299/32GB and $399/64GB) and 7.9 inch iPad mini (16GB/$329; 32GB/$429; 64GB/$529; each with a 4G LTE cellular option for $130 more).

New Mac mini specs revealed
9to5Mac reports that it has received information that Apple has refreshed Mac mini models that will likely launch today alongside the iPad mini. The website discovered before that Apple was planning two new standard configurations, as well as a third model running OS X Server. Moreover, the high-end models now move to quad-core processors. The new Mac mini models should retain the current pricing.

Apple announces iPad mini media event for October 23rd
