WhatsApp Messenger Got the Update
WhatsApp Messenger, the most popular cross-platform instant messaging service was updated to a version 2.10.1. On one hand, this is good news, but on the other - not really. By the end of this year, WhatsApp would become a subscription-based application - $0.99 per 12 month. However, those who download the messenger now, would get the annual subscription for free.
Anyway, let’s get back to the app itself. As usual, it has a bunch of new features:
- Multi-send UI: one can send multiple photos at the same time
- URL schema support for 3rd party apps
- iCloud chat history backup and restore
In case you don’t know - WhatsApp is a messenger for iPhone that allows you to send and receive messages, pictures, audio notes, and video messages using a cellular network or WiFi if it is available.
Application is compatible with iPhone and requires iOS 4.3 or later. You can download it from the App Store.
