Apple to Release Brand New MacBook Pro in Q4 2016 - Analyst



Reliable KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has recently predicted that Apple is working on an updated MacBook Pro model. Apple’s Global Smartphone Market Share Falls in Q1 - Gartner



According to the latest data shared by a research firm Gartner, Apple’s global smartphone market share fell to 14.8% in the first quarter of 2016. The number of iPhones shipped to customers accounted for 51.6 million and the number of smartphones sold globally by all vendors in the first quarter grew from 336 to 349 million units. Last year, Apple’s share in the same quarter was equal to 17.9%, so the decline is easily noticeable. Despite the overall growth of the smartphone market, the demand for iPhones becomes weaker.

Google Becomes World’s Most Valuable Company



Alphabet, Google’s parent company, has recently surpassed Apple and became the most expensive company in the world. Alphabet’s market capitalization is now equal to about $498.56 billion while the one of Apple is about $496.69 billion. Apple’s MacBook Market Share Falls 40% in Q1 2016



According to the latest report from TrendForce, Apple’s laptop sales have fallen more than 40% over the last couple of months. In the fourth quarter of 2015, Apple’s MacBook market share was equal to 9.7% and now it is estimated that the share accounts for 7.1%. Keeping in mind that total shipments fell in 2016, the decline made up 40.4%. In general, Apple went from the fifth place in the ranking of top laptop vendors to the sixth.

iPhone Sales in 2016 May Be Lower Than in 2014 - Analyst



According to the latest report published by reliable KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple’s iPhone shipments in 2016 may be lower than those of 2014. The expert believes that due to the lack of ‘attractive’ updates in the iPhone 7, the company may ship around 190-205 million iPhone units this year. Under the “worst case scenario,” Apple may become the only top-five rating vendor to see a decline in smartphone shipments. Depending on the actual sales results, the decline may account for 11.6% or 18.1% year-over-year.

Apple to Release Redesigned iPhone 8 in 2018 - Analyst

Apple Cuts iPhone 6, 6s and SE Prices in Japan
