Apple was granted a patent for protection from accidentally clicking on device





Today Apple received a 2009 patent application. It allows users to control the device by pressing or squeezing parts of the cover. Illustration of a range of different devices in the patent reveals potentially sensitive to touch areas.

Ferrari In Talks With Apple To Broaden Their Partnership



 

As Ferrari unveils its new 963 horse power “LaFerrari” hybrid car, Ferrari CEO Luca Cordero Di Montezemolo said Apple and Ferrari are in talks to broaden their partnership in the sphere of in-car entertainment. According to Bloomberg, Luca Cordero Di Montezemolo said that Ferrarri would be “more precise” about their partnership with Apple over the next few months.

Google Released First Update To Its Google Maps App For iOS



Today Google updated its Google Maps app for iOS with version 1.1. This is the first update since the company released its standalone app in December after Apple replaced Google’s Maps app with its mapping solution in iOS 6.

The update brings several improvements to Google Maps, including easier searching for local places and integrations with Google Contacts.

Apple is to develop 2TB solid state drives for next Mac Pro model



According to an unconfirmed report from the Bright Side of News, Apple is developing a two terabyte solid state drive for incorporation into the next Mac Pro.

Apple’s ‘iWatch’ Could Launch As Early As This Year



According to Bloomberg's report, Apple’s rumored smartwatch could launch this year.

Bloomberg claims citing a person familiar with Apple’s plans that features under considerations for the device include allowing users to make calls, check map coordinates and see the identity of incoming callers. The device could also include sensors for monitoring health data, such as heart rate, and a pedometer for counting steps.

Apple refund charges spended by british boy



A five-year-old boy from the UK accidentally made a purchase in the amount of £ 1700 ($2550) in just 15 minutes. This was happened after he asked his father to enter the password for the free download, reports BBC (via Gizmodo).

Analyst Says Cheaper iPhone and iPhone 5S Will Launch in August/September



Taiwan's Commercial Times points to a research note issed by an analyst Kirk Yang from Barclays claiming that Apple is planning to launch a lower-cost iPhone and an iPhone 5S in the August/September timeframe.

Devices With 'Willow Glass' Displays Unlikely To Appear During Next Three Years



Earlier this month The New York Times said that Apple is working on a smart watch with curved display that could make use of Corning’s flexible Willow Glass. Today Bloomberg reported that Corning believes it will likely take at least three years before devices with bendable Willow Glass displays can hit the market.
