Apple releases Safari 5.0.3, 4.1.3 with bug fixes, security updates
Early this week Apple released an update for its Safari Web browser, with version 5.0.3 for Windows, Mac OS X Leopard and Snow Leopard, and 4.1.3 for Mac users running Tiger. The updated browser fixes the bug that could prevent users from submitting web forms and establish an encrypted, authenticated connection to the Safari Extensions Gallery. New version of Safari for Mac also solves an issue that could cause Web content to display incorrectly.

Apple Releases iOS 4.2.1 Golden Master to Developers
While we were all waiting for Apple to finally release iOS 4.2 to the general public, the company seeded a new golden master of iOS 4.2, known as iOS 4.2.1, to developers. Apple has instructed developers not to resubmit their applications under the new build, suggesting that this new version only fixes some minute bugs and no new features have been added.

Then he figured out how to order iPhone 4’s parts directly from Foxconn and began making pretty good money. He has earned around $130,000 during the 6-months he has been selling the devices.

Business Insider carried out the iPad customer survey to form a portrait of average iPad user. The results are really interesting and worth mentioning.
38.5% of iPad owners use the device two to five hours per day. Most user use the device more now than when they originally made the purchase. But this fact isn’t actually a surprise, because there are lots of the iPad apps and their number continues to grow.
Apple promises unforgettable iTunes announcement coming Tuesday
Apple today updated the front page of its website posting a teaser which promises us that "Tomorrow is just another day. That you'll never forget". An "exciting announcement" regarding iTunes is coming at 10:00 AM Eastern time. There have been no specific hints what the announcement might be related to. Perhaps, it will be a cloud-based iTunes service to stream content from the new data center the company has built in North Carolina.
Dropbox updated to support iOS 4.2
Dropbox is a service that lets users to store files on a server and immediately share your pictures, documents and other files across different computers and mobile devices. 2Gb of server storage is free. The iPhone/iPad version is free and allows users to view photos, videos, documents, and presentations from DropBox online storage, upload existing files and export Dropbox files to other iPhone and iPad apps.
Dropbox has recently updated to version 1.3.1 with iOS 4.2 support. Here is a changelog:

Apple Releases iTunes 10.1 with support for AirPlay and iOS 4.2
On Friday Apple released the latest version of iTunes 10.1 both for Mac and Windows. The software is required to update your iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch to iOS 4.2. The update makes no mention of AirPrint, Apple's wireless printing standard for iOS devices.
iOS 4.2 reportedly delayed, iPad WiFi issues to blame
Apple may reportedly delay the release of iOS 4.2 until November 16th. The delay is probably coursed by a serious Wi-Fi issue. Many users of the Golden Master version of 4.2 reported that a WiFi connection could be established by their devices but after establishing connection they were unable to do anything on the Internet. “This will delay the release for at least a week while it is tested, but may not get public release until the following week as it appears Apple will be testing it vigorously. iOS 4.2 should, however, come out before Thanksgiving (November 25)", - the MacStories’ source claimed.
Australian doctors get the iPad habit as Apple world grows
As we know, Australian state Victoria Premier John Brumby always shows enthusiasm for the Apple’s iPad. He ordered 500 devices for Victorian hospitals and bought over 500 for Victorian schools. As we promised, yesterday Apple released Mac OS X 10.6.5 update for Snow Leopard, which now available via Software Update. The public release is the same Build 10H574 that was seeded to developers on Monday. The 10.6.5 Update is recommended for all users running Mac OS X Snow Leopard. MacStories’s source close with AT&T claims that new iOS 4.2 will be released on Friday at 10 a.m. Mac OS X 10.6.5 completed and waiting for launch. iTunes 10.1 was ready 3 weeks ago - likely after the release of beta 2 to developers. Both updates should be released on Wednesday. iOS 4.2 will require iTunes 10.1 to be installed and will bring AirPrint and AirPlay to the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. But Mac users need Mac OS X 10.6.5 to share a printer with an iOS device, while Windows users will access a printer through iTunes 10.1.

iPad Apps Are More Expensive
Obviously, the iPad apps are more expensive than those for the iPhone/iPod touch. But you probably don’t know that their prices increased in the past six months. The average price for the iPad app increased from $4.34 in April 2010 to $4.97 in October 2010 (+14.5%). Prices for the iPhone apps increased only from $3.94 to $4.03 (+2.3%). Moreover, now developers prefer to create applications compatible only with the iPad. Although iPhone apps cost less than their iPad counterparts, the iPad only accounts for 13% of the total 300,000 apps available in the App Store, and just 7 percent of all apps are universal.
Adobe: Apple is Inciting Negative Campaigning Against Flash
Last week Ars Technica test found out that the MacBook Airs battery life was reduced by up to two hours when Flash was installed. But the Adobe CTO Kevin Lynch believes that it is impossible. In his interview to Fast Company he claimed that reports of Adobe Flash causing reduced battery life are a “false argument.”
“When you're displaying content, any technology will use more power to display, versus not displaying content. If you used HTML5, for example, to display advertisements, that would use as much or more processing power than what Flash uses”, - Lynch explained.
Moreover, he blamed Apple in inciting and condoning a negative campaign against Flash. Earlier this year, Jobs spoke out against Flash in an open letter, labeling it unfit for the modern era of low-power devices. And as a result, the MacBook Airs and Macs are shipped now without Flash pre-installed.
iWork '11 to Launch Alongside Mac App Store in Early 2011?
People close to Apple claims that iWork '11 productivity suite is finished and ready for launch but will be released alongside the Mac App Store in early 2011. Initially iWork '11 was planed to be launched alongside iLife '11 last month and its release was held back at the last moment for unknown reasons. Now Apple is planning to launch the new productivity suite alongside the forthcoming Mac App Store. The application will include Pages, Numbers and Keynote bundles, which may be available for purchase exclusively through the Mac App Store for $19.99 each, below Apple's current $79 price for the complete retail box suite.
The Mac App Store should debut on January 18th, 2011. Last week the company began accepting submissions from developers who would like to include their applications in the Mac App Store. Developers will take a 70 percent cut of sales, while Apple will retain 30 percent.
