iPhone 5 will have 3.95" display with 1136 x 640 resolution
Apple is testing multiple next-generation iPhones and rumors say that at least one of these devices has a brand new display.
The iPhone display has always been 3.5 inches measured diagonally with a 3:2 aspect ratio. The old models had 320 x 480 resolution, the latest iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S have incredible 640 x 960 Retina Display.
It looks like this is about to change...
gTar is an iPhone Powered Guitar
gTar is a new Kickstarter project for an iPhone powered guitar.
The gTar is a fully digital guitar that makes it easy for anybody to play music, regardless of experience. All you have to do is dock your iPhone in the body, load up the gTar app, and an array of interactive LEDs along the fretboard will show you how to play.
You may be asking yourself what it means for a guitar to be "digital." While most guitars have pickups to amplify the sound of vibrating strings, the gTar has none - instead, we've designed the gTar with sensors that detect exactly what you're playing in real-time and relay each note to your iPhone, which then produces the actual sound.
You can buy gTar from $350
To see gTar in action, take a look at the video below:
When is the iPhone 5 coming out?
iPhone 5, when we will see it? This is one of the most frequent questions we're being asked these days.
Many useres want a new phone and don't want to get the current iPhone 4S if the next generation iPhone 5 (or whatever Apple decides to call it) is right around the corner.
In the past for the first four years of the iPhone's existence, Apple announced the release dates at their annual World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC) and shipped shortly thereafter. The original iPhone shipped on June 29, 2007. The iPhone 3G on July 11, 2008. The iPhone 3GS shipped on June 8, 2009. The iPhone 4 shipped on June 24, 2010.

A few next iPhone prototypes are floating around Apple HQ in locked shells in order to hide their design from employees. And two of these devices, iPhone 5,2 and iPhone 5,1, are said to have larger display.

Quick info about iOS 5.1.1 Untethered Jailbreak
MuscleNerd from the iPhone Dev-Team has posted some details on the upcoming untethered jailbreak from pod2g.
- All info below is tentative and subject to last minute refinements
- @pod2g's 5.1.1 jailbreak+untether is working out great. All devices are covered except for AppleTV3,1, which currently has no path for jailbreaking.
- the initial 5.1.1 plan used a kernel exploit from @westbaer which unfortunately precluded use in iPod3,1 and iPhone2,1
- @planetbeing stepped up and provided a kernel exploit that covers both of those. Those two JBers are the bomb! - The 5.1.1 A5 JB is very similar to the A5 5.0.1 JB. @pimskeks has done a tremendous job supporting both 5.0.1 and 5.1.1 in absinthe
- Similar to 5.0.1, there will also be a 5.1.1 CLI "cinject" binary and redsn0w version of the 5.1.1 JB+untether. Absinthe, cinject, and redsn0w will all provide the same JB in different fashions.
- timing is indeterminate. Plans are for this week, but a number of factors can influence that. - For those wishing to donate, we've set up a new 5.1.1 paypal URL: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=4U6DQGJ2NRVUN
- Please don't pirate AppStore apps (seriously, please do not).

The video was later removed from the public, but you know there is nothing that can be hidden
